Inaugural NACIN, Mumbai
Organic Waste Converter project done by riteways at National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes And Narcotics (NACIN), Mumbai was inaugurated by Smt. Archana P. Tiwari, Director General, NACIN, Faridabad, in presence of Shri Samir Subhash Bajaj, ADG, NACIN, Mumbai on 5th October 2018. This project was implemented under "Swachhta Action Plan 2018-19".
TALLBOY® OWC plant at this campus shall process up to 125 Kg/day of wet organic waste coming out from canteen (food scrap & left over food). NACIN food waste management program includes segregation of wet and dry waste. The wet waste management part has an organic waste treatment plant for 24-hr composting.
The TALLBOY® green waste reprocessor supplied by riteways, Bangalore is an aerobic compost system that helps in achieving 'Zero Garbage' status, it is also a Bio Fertilizer Plant producing rich organic manure, that would get used in greening up the campus.
